Community Environmental Projects
EcoWeek participates in preserving the local ecosystem by using proceeds to support different Community Environmental Projects that are developed by our Board of Directors.
Recycling Receptacles in Public Places – By engaging Monroe County and local trash haulers EcoWeek Events is working to place over 250 recycling bins in public parks, beaches and boat ramps throughout Monroe County. Each bin will be marked with a company logo and is a great marketing opportunity for your business. Please contact us today to sponsor a bin and show your support!
Plastic Bag Reduction – EcoWeek Events has started a community outreach program working with local businesses to switch their plastic bags to biodegradable bags and implement bag reuse programs. EcoWeek also supports changing the current law restricting banning or taxing plastic bags.
