President, EcoChamber

Tia Diaz-Balart is the founder of the EcoChamber; the first and only global green chamber of commerce. The EcoChamber has presence in over 19 countries worldwide and 37 states in the United States. They have put programs into place to support the environment by helping businesses adopt sustainable practices and helping them succeed by networking with prospective customers, investors and vendors from across the globe. In addition, the EcoChamber is involved in community projects that work to improve children's health, build businesses for struggling and displaced families and include programs to nurture environmental leadership and stewardship for our youth.

Tia is also currently vice president at RBB with 17 years of experience in marketing and PR. She specializes in developing brand positions, direct marketing initiatives and PR tactics to ultimately meet her clients’ bottom-line business objectives.
Previously, Tia acted as the national marketing manager for seven years at Hewlett-Packard’s USA operations, where she oversaw sales and marketing for a variety of channels including business-to-business, online and retail and was responsible for more than $1.2 billion in sales through nationwide marketing initiatives. Tia created and oversaw the implementation of national media and promotional campaigns that became best-in-class examples such as corporate loyalty programs and merchandising strategies.
Before Hewlett-Packard, Tia implemented lobbying and grassroots campaigns for the telecommunications, agriculture and alternative fuel industries such as AT&T, United HealthCare, Florida Crystals and the Tri-County Authority. Prior positions include finance director for a Florida Secretary of State Election campaign and the corporate coordinator for the Hemispheric Summit of the Americas hosted by the White House.
Tia is active within the community and served on the steering committee of the United States Conference of AIDS and the national committee for the American Red Cross Annual Gala. She has also worked to launch the Pediatric Integrative Research Center at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine.
